Tomoko Yamamoto is the founder and Principal of Yamamoto Attorneys. Tomoko was born and educated in Japan prior to commencing her law studies at the University of New South Wales. She was admitted to practice law in Australia in 1998 and is widely recognised in the joint Japanese-Australian business economy.
Tomoko has acted for numerous public and private Japanese companies. Primary area of expertise is Family Law and she has regularly advised not only individual clients, but also at Japanese government level.
Tomoko is also a NAATI accredited English-Japanese translator at professional level. Se writes articles covering a wide range of relevant legal issues for a number of community newspapers since 1998.
