Kaori is admitted to practice in Victoria. Kaori enjoys providing clients with practical, clear legal services that draw on her personal and professional experience of living and working in Japan, Singapore and Melbourne.
Kaori graduated law at the University of Melbourne (Juris Doctor, 2003). More recently, Kaori completed a graduate certificate in Migration Law and Practice at the Australian National University (2017).
Naoko is a former Westpac banker in cross border syndications and debt capital markets, based in Tokyo, Sydney and Hong Kong. As a NAATI certified interpreter, Naoko also worked as a business, medical and legal interpreter, with extensive experience in criminal matters through police and court interpreting. Prior to joining Yamamoto Attorneys, Naoko worked as a litigation solicitor at a community legal centre which focuses on strategic public interest litigation matters. Naoko graduated from Keio University, Tokyo (Bachelor of Law/Political Science), and from the University of New South Wales Law School (Juris Doctor with Distinction). Naoko is admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
